11:41 am	Details Details Firstly: Hmmm certain events have come to my attention that may shuffle the time of KiwiNoWriMo: How does July sound for an alternitive date?...the 1st to 31st? I know that cuts into the first bit of the 2nd semester...but the start shouldn't be as busy or hectic as cutting into exam time for people that still have exams in june. Secondly: I encourage people to keep a running word count of on their LJ's. Additionaly: Near the end of the writing period I will post an email address you can send your novel to and i'll upload it and link it on this page, so you can share your work of "art" with the others if you wish. 11:02 pm	What a Novel Idea KiwiNoWriMo: 1 Month 1 Goal 50,000 Words The idea is to get a whole bunch of people together to write novels on what ever topic or genre they wish, The goal is for each person to finish a 50,000 word epic in one month. The idea comes from NaNoWriMo an event run in october each year...unfortunately for us New Zealanders it comes in the middle of exams and the summer...so my idea was to try it during the mid semester break this year in winter, and to share my pain of reaching that deadline by Inviting you all along. The odds are that if I know you - or got here through someone I know - you are most likely a LARPer, Roleplayer, English major, Scifi fan, Movie buff, Tolkien Fan Etc which mean that the creativity should not be lacking for most of you. I'm thinking 00:00 June 17 - 24:00 July 17. Anyone else up for it?? Anyone?? (11 Comments |Comment on this)
